TX 850

Post by BazButtons »

I got one as a back up to my back up machine, ( belt and braces), really impressed with little Chinese machine ,it pulled a tiny Roman fibula at 7 inches first club dig.
But I think its slightly out of balance with the garret a.t pro type coil,my question to any other users is
Have you tried other smaller coils and do they work well ?
The m/c is a clone of the teknetics g2 / fisher gold bug,TIA

The general opinion about these pirated clones is that the electronics works OK, the counterfeit coils are the weak point. So if you fit a genuine First Texas coil, you should get decent results.

Mine is virtually unusable now ,the vdi display keeps breaking up.I personally wouldn't buy another Chinese machine.
