Unknown bullet.

Found around 9" on pasture today,encrustation appears to be some form of corrosion,not dirt.
Not a clue do I have about it.

Judging on what I've found so far I'm thinking .577/450 Martini–Henry.

.450/577 Martini Henry (as seen in the film Zulu). The .450 calibre Martini Henry Rifle was in service from 1871-1888. ::g
