DIY(ish) Camera Stand

Post by Tetra73 »

Hi all thought I would post up some pics of my DIY(ish) camera stand for taking pics of my good finds (if and when I find any) and for when I am playing around taking some macro shots of other things

The old darkroom enlarger I picked up from ebay for £40 could have got cheaper but this one looked to have a good hight and easy to adapt to my needs

a lab jack also from ebay for about £8

a macro focus slider was around £15 from amazon

a small metal plate I had kicking around from an old broken tripod head was bolted onto the lifting arm and the focus slider bolted onto that

I have yet to try this to see how well it works as I have just finished putting it together so will let you know if it works ok or not the lab jack will be used if I need to adjust the focus just a little if I need to when running out of adjustment on the focus slider
