The field was a good fossil field though, and I found a nice small urchin, trapped in a piece of flint...
And saw some other nice fossils picked up by others too
Being as it was so close to the Watercress line, there was plenty of steam trains to be watched...
All in a nice day out, in typical spring weather, the Weekend Wanderers were very welcoming and friendly, the cost was very reasonable, even for a non member, and a nice touch was the free tea and coffee on offer all day
