Eurotek Pro problems

Post by Theeye » Thu Jan 17, 2019 11:49 am

Hi was out yesterday with the above machine. Got home after a miserable wet day and cleaned my kit. Stood my detector by the radiator so to dry off. Everything was switched off etc. Got up this morning and my detector had switched its self on and wouldn't turn off.
Removed the battery and replaced it. Still the same problem. Can anyone help as I have only used it once.
Cheers in advance.

Remove the battery and leave the battery cover off, place the detector in a warm area of the
house for 24 hours, replace the battery and cover, and power up the machine.
Next time you detect in the rain put a plastic bag over the controller. ::g

Needs more time to dry out, a silica gel sachet placed in the battery compartment should
help to remove any moisture, if the problem persists, then it looks like you need to take it
to a local detector shop for repair.
