Best setting for AT Max

Post by Onchanman » Thu Nov 07, 2019 11:54 pm

Does anybody have tips on which frequency would be best on farmland I had an old Euro ace which produced some nice finds but to date I am drawing a blank on my AT Max so many Im thinking that I should stop using the same modes as I used to use on my old Euro. I tend to set on coins as the constant whining of all metal drives me nuts. Am I missing out on finds by not using all metal?

Assuming the same set up as my 400i,I usually run custom with first three notches knocked out and sensitivity down one or two notches, depending on contamination.

......they only change when they feel the heat.

Best settings don't exist. Different circumstances needs other settings. Not that less even need change on one field.

And another argument. Do you think that if your settings are 98% best, that you will not find the objects?
Detecting is more in the way you swing, having at least a good detector, and most of all finding the right spots or be lucky with that.

My advice. Learn your detector and it's settings, so you can always set it in the best settings needed at that moment.
Good luck hunting.
