Nothing new to report,ground's like Chobham armour.
Thought I'd post this find up.
Found it gardening ages ago,struck how black it is.
Not jet,too heavy,just wondered if anyone could identify what variety of stone it is.

quite a few to pick from black tourmaline, Black onyx and so on. Black agate it probably the most likley

Type of stone I would have picked up when out and about.
Decent size to it as well.

Could be Magnatite. Just the sort of thing I love to find
