Digging a hole around the centre indicated point often means I have to enlarge usually the rear left side to find the item indicated.
It's not as accurate as my Fisher

small concentric will always pinpoint the best
size for size concentric pinpoint better than DD's
vertical coin or sheet metal items pinpoint with a DD at the very top edge and bottom edge of the coil not in the centre
bigger the coil the more chance a near by lump of iron will affect the pinpointing
its important with a large coil to sweep the coil from multi direction. Then average out where the centre is. If in one direction there is a double beep the item will be in between them.
main thing is practice, practice, practice
