Difference between Trident 1 and 2

Post by Casswheatley » Wed Aug 22, 2018 8:51 am

Hi Folks
Hubby and I are getting back into metal detecting, now there's a club round our way...

He still has his XP GM but I ...like a fool...sold my Cibola years ago X(

So my question is...What is the difference between the Laser trident 1 and the laser trident 2?

The chances of me find a cibola for sale are slim to none, so I'll settle for the UK version of Tesoro cibola....I've been looking on feebay and the usual online stores.....and I'm stuck as to which one to buy.... any help would be greatly appreciated x

Think u will find the Trident 2 has fixed and manual ground balance as trident 1 is fixed only.

I think..

I have the Laser Trident 2, and have used it for two years, i had the Trident 1 before that. Both are really superb machines, feather light, supremely stable, superb iron discrimination... for the little bit of extra expense, i would go for the Trident 2. You are covered for all (or at least most) eventualities with the manual GB. It also has a fixed GB setting if you encounter difficulties. A truly great detector in my humble opinion.

Also take a look at the Rapier 2...
purchased one myself very recently, and its much improved on the original rapier/and plus.
much improved recovery by miles and bit of extra depth due to improved sensitivity circuit,
But whatever laser u go for, u cant go wrong ::g
Good hunting.
