Bought my first Cscope (4mx)

Post by Haunebu » Fri Apr 05, 2013 10:24 am

Hello Friends

After trying several different machines I decided to stick to the british roots and bought one of the new Cscopes. Could you kindly advise best settings. Any tips or tricks will be greatly appreciated. Seen all you tube clips:-)

Happy hunting!

Hello and welcome Haunebu ::g
I have not used a CScope for years, the last one I had was a 5MX which had pretty good performance, I have always been curious how the later models work and would not mind trying one out myself! B-)
I cannot suggest any settings but hopefully someone will be along soon who is actually using one and will be able to give you a few pointers ::g
Best of luck with it!

The settings for this machine i would recommend would be set the sens control to just under audio threshold (as a constant low level audio can be annouying), set disc 1 to level 1 and disc 2 to between levels 3 and 4. Leave the ground control in auto until you get use to the machine. Hope this helps
