6MXi On The Beach?

Just wondering if anyone has used there 6mxi on the beach? Might be making a trip tomorrow but Ive never used mine one the beach. Is it any good? will it be too chatty? any setting suggestions?

Not used mine on the beach yet, but I'm sure it will be fine on the dry stuff but not the wet stuff from what I have heard. Addicted-to-bleeps is the guy to ask, i know he has tried.

Thanks for that. Been doing a little searching. Seems there is differing opinions but it should be OK.

Im pretty sure it will be ok on dry sand, but check out the cs 4pi for the wet sand.Its a killer but you will dig lots of iron and find lots of goodies ::g

I have , it work's well on the dry stuff ,but chatty on wet sand
But you get used to it after a while . Used it on the beach before I got my 4pi
