Great idea. How did you fix the finds to the felt background?

A hot glue gun so if he ever wants to remove them then the glue will peel off ::g

Nice work..
I plan to win 1120 buttons one of the next days, Then I guess I have a few pieces to give to my farmers..

i get mine at charity shops etc ,i only go for the deeper ones and make a frame inside you can pick them up for 50 pence a frame ::g

That's a well presented gift jez ::g ,just tell him not to hang it over the open fire mate or you might have to go and do some remedial work with glue gun in hand,cd ::g

Massively impressed. Not least because I'd probably have to empty all my finds for the year to fill a frame that size!
Lovely gift and great that the finds are being enjoyed on the land they came from.
