Finds Display

Post by ashjacko »

Hi all!

I have made a display for my first military badge that I have found as it is one of my favourite finds, I am yet to get a brass plaque for the base.

I have one of these exact displays for a signed snooker ball so did the same for this, well I say I but what I mean is my father in law made the base as he's a boat builder and then I bought the purspex cube off ebay.

I used red as the cloth colour as it is the colours of The Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry.

Thanks for looking.

Nicely done and a great talking point, which could lead to permissions.

Thanks, yes he does lots of woodwork for the boats and has use of any kind of machine at work so his work is out of this world we have loads at home made by him including a huge Thomas the tank engine bed for our son.

Brilliant Idea well done mate! I've planned to mount my stuff on a perspex base cube, if that makes sense?

Alas, I am yet to find something worth displaying!

P.s. I've always wanted to be a boatbuilder!
