the sixpences are dated 1957 and 1959 and i found them about 25 cm down.

The keyhole cover looks similar to the ones that my Grandfather used when he was a carpenter so my guess would be post World War II which fits in with the coinage.
What kind of area are you detecting at the moment - private land/garden or pasture maybe?
Although, I enjoyed the walk with my Bounty Hunter Tracker IV!
