New Machine!

Post by FileyLad » Wed Apr 19, 2017 3:55 pm

Hi guys.

Moved from explorer XS to the red racer with racer 2 coil. Is this a good move?

I found the minelab amazing but SO heavy!!

Is the racer a capable machine?

Cheers

Hi FileyLad, I think you will be surprised how well the racer performs inland and at the beach, also very simple to use, Glad to hear you have one of the stronger coils ::g

Thanks MRIX, I saw your review videos and was impressed but as I will be taking it to rallies wanted it to stand up to the competition :-)

Thanks

Hi FileyLad, Had one of these since March and it's amazing detector, I too have the older Minelab Soveriegn XS it does take a little time to recognise the tones for objects but you will love it, used it on Minehead beach in wet sand worked fine I have learned not to have the sensativity up too high well on the fields I have been using it on around 70-75. Found a hammered last sunday but it was very badly damaged still trying to identify it but first hammered on this field so far now in seed :-(
