Post by onthebeach » Tue Mar 01, 2011 8:40 am

Hi anyone know of a supplier of trousers with those removable knee pads, when out last week on shingle one of my knees was giving me some trouble so I thought this is way to lighten the blow any web address welcome.

Hi mate I work in construction and the work trousers I have are made by Snickers and they have built in knee pads. They can be bought for around £50. The also have pockets for finds and even one that seems tailor made for your Garrett pinpointer. There are other makes, but that's what I use :)

Hi,
You can go in any B&Q or Wickes and find workwear trousers(Dickies) with removable knee pads for around £12-£15. I never go detecting without them, my knees would have been shot years ago if I didnt wear them. Hope this helps

I use the Dickies trousers with knee pads :)
Yes the Pro-pointer pocket works really well!
So much better than kneeling on a stone!
I found them on E-bay, but had to buy the knee pads separately from the trousers!

Happy Hunting
