Finds Belt on a budget

Post by Guppy » Fri Apr 19, 2019 9:56 am

Morning all,

Thought I'd share with you my latest purchase from decathlon for £13.

All of the pockets are removable (great for washing) I've removed the large rear mesh pocket as I don't see a use for it, plus it allows for the front pockets to hang further to the side.

That looks great!! I’ve been thinking of getting a new bag for ages that clips around the waist. I can’t find it on their website though. Could you post the link?? ☺️

Here you are Emily https://www.decathlon.co.uk/clay100-cla ... 93929.html

I use a leather double nail pouch that i bought in 1985 when I was doing a bit of roofing work it is still going strong after 30 years detecting. A search for nail pouch will bring up a lot of alternative options that will last a lot longer than the decathlon one.

If you type 'clay pigeon shooting belt' in search, then you should be able to find it. Alternatively search for belt in the hunting section.

Not sure what to think about it. Not convinced I`d like those "flaps" dangling around my Hips , but On first looking at it, it gave me the impression of a Kilt with a gap for the Sporran.
Actually I can see It would possibly be more appealing to our Scottish members maybe ?
A bit of Highland Bagpipe music and were off to bonny Scotland lads .. :))
