Rechargeable Batteries

Post by chrisj24 »

Quick newb question, I'm considering investing in rechargeable 9v batteries for my pointer and detector. Any downsides? Any comments?

It probably won't make any difference but which machine are you intending use them for as it could be a factor. Cheers - Regards ss47 ::g

I've got the loan of a Laser Scout to give the hobby a try.

The laser series are pretty frugal when it comes to power consumption and the scout especially so.
Good quality rechargeable batteries should be absolutely fine. One thing worth checking is the amount of space for the battery as on occasions batteries can be a tight fit making them a bit difficult to remove or in some cases to fit the battery cover.
Good Luck ::g - Regards ss47

I use a rechargeable battery in my Garrett probe, I charge every 3 or 4 outings.
Not had any problems with it.
