Nope its very similar to most other detectors construction wise,i think the Deus shaft are only on the latest Goldmax power range and a few of the other machines.

Regton advertise them with the Deus type shaft so the answer to your question is YES.

Just been in contact with Regtons within the last few minutes about this Deus shaft setup on the ADX150 and going back to your original question the shaft 'does not' close up like the Deus one its a Deus looking shaft arrangment which is totally different from the collapsable shaft that the Deus has.

So i thought i would highlight that fact,it looks like the Deus shaft but it is infact i would say just a normal shaft setup but the hand grip is made to look like Deus one.

Its worth checking the facts prior to ordering one and then finding its not as cllapsable as you had wanted ::g

Yes Mega the shaft looks to be in three pieces and only has the Deus style hand grip.
You were right first time mate.

I fitted a deus shaft to my GMP, in theory it will collapse down but in practice with a coil cable wrapped around the shaft this causes problems, unless you unwrap the cable every time.
I have my cable wrapped around the middle shaft

And only collapse the lower shaft to place it in my bag.
Good shaft more ergonomic than the old style
