Help desperately needed : Cromer, Norfolk

Post by slw200 » Sun Mar 01, 2015 11:56 pm

Help desperately needed.

My late fathers ring is lost and we have only a very small window to recover it.

I know every lost ring or piece of jewellery is very very important to the person that lost it, but this feels like the worst thing in the world we could have lost...

We lost my father last year after he had a very short battle with cancer, only a few months between full health and him passing. My mother has been wearing his wedding ring ever since, but today it got lost, most likely in our back garden. We've frantically spent all afternoon searching the grass to no avail. My Mum is completely beside herself. At the end of this week we have some building work starting and if we havent found the ring by then, our chances of finding it become even slimmer and it feels like we probably won't ever find it.

We're just a couple of miles outside of Cromer and if anyone can offer any help with this it would be unbelievably welcome...
Thank you - Sharon

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Stuart Clarke who contacted us the morning after I submitted this post. Only a few miles away from us he was extremely kind to come to our house that day and found the ring within minutes.
My Mum broke down when I told her. Thank you so much Stuart.

I also like to thank fishyshaun who also offered to come and help search from 40 miles away.

It may seem like a little thing but how you guys offer to help people find things that mean so much is amazing. Its not often nowadays that people offer help in this way. I can't thank you enough.

Great work Stuart in finding that ring.. it almost brought a tear to my eye after reading the original post and feeling the panic and angst her mother must have been suffering and not to mention the long term affect on her if you didn't find the ring. There must have been a huge sigh of relief when you found it. Well done fella your a star. ::g
