HELP - lost ring on Polzeath, Cornwall

Is anyone able to help?

I lost a ring (great sentimental value) on Polzeath beach on 9/08/12. I would really really really appreciate any help in finding it.

I have the GPS coordinate of where i think it was dropped but it was into about a foot of water as the tide was going out. What do people think.... would it be washed away or is there hope that it could be found under the sand near where it was dropped? I have a metal detecting friend near where I live in the south and he suggested I contact the local club which i did but no one is available to come and look.

I randomly searched down someone with a detector on the day it was lost but could not find anything ?lack of skill and dodgy detector? The friend here seems to think there may be a chance of finding it so i have some renewed hope?

Please please help......

Have you pm'd the 2 members listed under Cornwall in the National Search Service, this may get some help for you. Good luck in finding the ring. ::g

Nice work Ossie ::g , and good to see that the service has provided a happy ending to the sad loss of a valued personal item. Without the forum this would not have happened, full credit to all who made this possible.
