Buddy up Tamworth Area

Hi Guys,

I'm based near Tamworth and fairly new to this detecting game. I've had a few interesting finds but really like to unearth some coins!

I'm currently seeking permission in a few areas.

Anybody around the Tamworth area who wouldn't mind a tag along?? It would be great to get out there with somebody with some experience they maybe willing to share.

Hi stew205, Whilst I can understand your reasoning in looking for a 'buddy', you would be more liable to find a buddy who is willing to share their own 'permission' with someone else, if you were in a position to return the favour.

Above all, don't give-up seeking a permission for yourself, whilst it's not easy it is the way ahead Good Luck. Regards ss47

Thanks Sweepstick47, sound advice. I loosely know a couple of local farmers and I'm hoping some permission may come out of it. We will wait to see on that.


Maybe I can't offer any pre approved land permission but I could certainly bring a long some bacon butties
