How do I go about making this flat
After going my finds this weekend. I came across this. After getting the mud off thinking it was scrap to begin with, turns out to be a nice little pendant, made of copper has a ribbon top with remnants of blacks and greens after looking through jewellers magnifiers and looks to be a bird poss swallow bottom right.

I'll leave others to give you instructions on straightening, flattening, hammering, sources of pneumatic implents of great strength that are capable of origami and so on

Re: How do I go about making this flat
I've had some success straightening a Copper Brooch and a couple of rather mangled Copper spoons by annealing them, but you need to keep in mind that it might just go wrong and the patina will almost certainly be ruined.
I held the items over a gas flame until they began to glow, then dropped them into cold water. I repeated this a few times and I was able to gently straighten them. You might need to check for any fine cracks/fractures as they could fail.
