You are not wrong! I spent a good few hours this weekend on the same area with no luck unfortunately. The grass didn’t get cut last year though and it is a thick mess, so I think I could be losing a couple of inches depth. I may have to wait until later this year to properly go over it. I am confident that I am not finished there though!

I’ve been lucky enough to find a gold hammerd , you won’t forget the first time you saw it in a hurry
... The groat is a lovely coin as well and I’d love to find one of them , very well done

Amazing, just goes to show if in doubt have it out. I've only just begun but i wonder on certain signals if i should have dug them.
