Was out last night on a recently cropped field that used to be pasture, not one of my favourites as not much has come out of this field apart from a few badly corroded coins then I found this with my Minelab Safari. It came out from about 10" down under the rotten grass on a reading of 36 in coin and jewelry mode with the 11" FBS Coil. I've been doing this fascinating hobby on & off for about 20 years and this is the first Silver Spoon I have ever found so very pleased.
I think the silver maker is James Berry (Aberdeen) and it dates I think back to 1836-1857.
If anyone thinks any different then can they please let me know as I am hopeless at reading these mint marks. Thanks
