First Gold Find...

Post by sgoody1 » Mon May 20, 2019 10:09 pm

Ok, so it might not be that exciting to you, but it was for me!
A small gold triple ring, very shallow, and found with my Discovery 2200 (yes, I have still not taken the plunge on the Nox 600 - but I will!!)
The ring is small, and the hallmarks which are on each section are tiny, but I made out 375, a leopard head, and a Q - which matches up to 1990 from what I can tell based on the font.
Other finds today also included a massive horseshoe - very heavily corroded, bits of shrapnel, a Yale key, a few poor condition pennies, and a couple of Pound coins!

Nice find.

Other finds today also included a massive horseshoe - very heavily corroded, bits of shrapnel, a Yale key, a few poor condition pennies, and a couple of Pound coins!

Well keep plodding on and your land could be a blast. This should open the door to many other finds and by saving the pennies you have also made a couple of pounds.

Well done.

Although, I enjoyed the walk with my Bounty Hunter Tracker IV!
