Horse pendant or decanter label?

Can anyone help with an ID on this please. Found on pasture land that's not been ploughed for donkeys years if ever at around 7" down with a 79 on Deus basic 1. Think it's made of brass or copper, 2.5" long x 1.75" long and the fixing on the back is only at one end but the loop is not long enough to reach the other end :-/ No ferrous metal on it at all, and the loop is a white metal, the main part is sort of kidney shaped and dished. Thank for any thoughts. ::g
