silver coin ....?

Post by HolzHammer » Tue May 21, 2019 1:20 pm

Afternoon All,
Please forgive the images and the way I have positioned this - I tried to get the right light on each side as to give out as much detail as possible... I have not "treated" it in any way as yet so the detail is still minimal I'm afraid.
Found on drilled cover crop field, Herts. Not sure wether cut or damaged... very fine silver I don't dare try and do too much with it! Anyway theres not much to go on but I reckon it may be possible for a few of you to ID, thank you in advance!
All the Best
Alexander

You have amazing land. That machine is doing the business but obviously the user is doing a good job too :D .

What coil and programme are you favouring at the moment?
XP Deus !!£$ I use the HOT programme on 17khz, reactivity at 2.5 on v5.21 with the X35 11” coil

11” 35 x - Gary’s Hot! I always find it funny how that sounds! I don’t know him so don’t know if it’s true or not! Sorry, Gary’s hot - reactivity 2.5 but switching to 3 if it gets too chatty - and starting to favour 17khz over 25... I might be imagining, as they can sound quite similar when comparing over the same undug target, but I think it gives an extra umph but still finds small stuff... and the lands not bad but that was the first and only good thing I found in three hours... and about 7 minutes shy iof the end time.... I kept my concentration up throughout though today and so didn’t miss it... I would have done another time as it gave the same low tone as tiny copper scrap!

Good that’s what I’m using too - hot, 2.5 reactivity and 17khz and I’m feeling I’m missing nothing. The 11” x35 is now my go to coil as well - took me long enough! Although I still love my HF :D
