WANTED - Newbie detector

Post by BVongatom » Mon Nov 27, 2017 7:24 pm

I'm new to the hobby and have very little knowledge of metal detectors. I've done some research and have narrowed my search down to,
Makro Racer
Minelab Safari
Minelab Sovereign gt
Has anyone got one of these for sale, and any necessary equipment?
Thanks

Welcome to the forum and this fascinating hobby.

I would wait until early in the new year before buying a detector. Because IF, repeat IF, the Minelab Equinox is as good as the hype claims it will make all single frequency machines obsolete so the market will be flooded with "obsolete" machines like the Makro Racer :D :D :D In which case you should be able to pick up what is currently a good detector and makes plenty of finds for peanuts.

Evan

PS: As you might gather people consider me to be a cynical due to some of my comments. But in most cases this cynicism eventually proves to be justified.

Hello John,
I've tried to send you a pm but it's stuck in my outbox!
Yes I'm very interested if you will post. I'm in S.Wales, much too far away I'm afraid!

PMs will stay in your "outbox" until its read. So message has been sent OK its just that its not been read. [This catches a lot of people out the first time they send a PM]
