Looks like I have got my first Permission...just need to dot the I's and cross the T's but really buzzing about it. About 20 Acres mainly Pasture but about 3 Acres of Ancient woodland as well. Well chuffed about it as I have only just started (about 2 weeks ago), in this fascinating hobby.

Have a meeting in a couple of weeks time with another landowner as well, in an area on the fringes of a Civil War battle site!

Onwards and upwards(hopefully).

Great news for you Fisherman, smaller permissions like that can often be more productive as finds can be more concentrated rather than scattered over a large area, it just depends on previous activity - but you will soon get a feel for it and they are easier to read. What a great start ::g
